Make the most of the NHS App at Sherwood Forest Hospitals

We’re making it easier for patients at Sherwood Forest Hospitals to receive important information digitally, all in one place through the NHS App.

We are now sending appointment reminders by email. We already use NHS App notifications to let you know when you have a new appointment or letter to view in the App and we’ll soon use NHS App notifications for reminders too, helping you stay up to date with your hospital care.

It is now easier to claim your Patients Know Best account through the NHS App. Once registered, you can view hospital letters, appointment information and other updates securely on your phone, tablet or computer.

We are also expanding the information available digitally. As well as appointment and clinical letters, patients will now be able to receive a digital copy of their hospital discharge letter once they have claimed their Patients Know Best account.

Looking ahead, we are working to make hospital test results available through the NHS App too. Many patients can already view GP test results in the app, and we plan to bring hospital results into the same convenient place in the coming months.

What you need to do: download the NHS App, claim your Patients Know Best account, and keep your NHS App notifications switched on so you don’t miss important updates from us.
