Vivup Employee Assistance Programme gives you access to impartial, confidential advice from qualified counsellors when you need it most.

VIVUP are our employees assistance programme. This means that they provide support to you as a SFH staff member on a range of things.

To access the work booklet resources you will need a call, phone Occupational Health for this or see the Wellbeing section of the weekly Bulletin.

No, you can call them directly, no need for referral or to inform your manager.

If are looking for counselling sessions it maybe useful for you to talk to your manager as they can offer additional and attend sessions around shift and in work time.

Yes, what is discussed is between you and the counsellor at VIVUP.

They do not provide a report to the trust or to your manager. It is private and confidential just like you were to access private counselling.

VIVUP provide both.

In the moment support is when you are needing some support now, perhaps you are feeling extremely anxious, low in mood, or experiencing crisis or thoughts of harm.

Call VIVUP and ask to speak to a counsellor and they will put you through directly. This is a 24 hour, 7 day a week service. If you need specific crisis support they will also be able to provide this.

If you are wanting to arrange a block of counselling support please call VIVUP on 0330 380 0658 to arrange this directly.

6 one-hour sessions. These can be in person at King's Mill Hospital in the Occupational Health Department, online or over the telephone.

Sessions are with the same counsellor each time.

If phoning causes you heightened anxiety, there are people to help you.

You can talk to your manager, or speak with one of the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Team or a Wellbeing Champion who can support you to prepare for the phone call and be with you whilst you make this. 

We can ensure you have a quiet space to make this call. This number is open 24 hours a day.
